Course Description

            ฝึกปฏิบัติการออกแบบบรรจุภัณฑ์ ตามกระบวนการคิดสร้างสรรค์ ผ่านการคิดค้นรูปทรงสามมิติ และกราฟิกของบรรจุภัณฑ์หลากหลายประเภท เพื่อสื่อความหมาย แนวคิด และสารสาระสำคัญ ตามหลักการพื้นฐานของบรรจุภัณฑ์ ซึ่งประกอบด้วย การบรรจุ การปกป้อง การอำนวยความสะดวก และการสื่อสาร โดยคำนึงถึงวัตถุประสงค์และบริบทของบรรจุภัณฑ์ รวมถึงการสร้างความโดดเด่นสะดุดตา
        A   practice  of  package   design  with   creative  thinking   methods   to  explore threedimension  forms  and  surface  graphic  of  various  types  of package to convey meaning,  concept,  and   key  message  according  to  basic  principles  of  packaging including     containment,     protection,     convenience,   and   communication,   with  consideration of packaging purpose, context, and visual impact


Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs)

Upon completion of this course, students are expected to be able to

CLO-1Students can explain the history, evolution, meaning, and importance of packaging, categorize materials and basic types of packaging, provide information for design, and explain fundamental design principles.
CLO-2Students experiment with new ideas and problem-solving approaches for design projects, analyze data to aid in packaging design, and apply creative concepts to project design.
CLO-3Students can work collaboratively in teams, exchange opinions, and engage in polite and reasoned critique/discussion in class.
CLO-4Students can present the content of the design project comprehensively according to specified details, enhancing understanding of the design process and the final product. They choose appropriate presentation media, ensuring meticulousness and beauty, and can present clearly in both Thai and English.
CLO-5Students can create sketches and models by applying packaging design techniques and skills, designing packaging that meets the communication needs of users and stakeholders, considering aesthetics, human factors, and utility.
